We made a commercial for the last standing Blockbuster Video in Bend, Oregon.
It was live-streamed during the Super Bowl halftime and released on VHS.
We teased the film on social, and got the people guessing…what was coming next?
We made 10 copies of the VHS tape available for rental from Blockbuster.
On the big day, the spot was live-streamed from the world’s last Blockbuster Video in Bend, Oregon.
Local, national, and international stations visited the store, and many of them aired the spot in its entirety on their networks.
In the end, we captured more eyeballs than some actual Super Bowl commercials.
